BJP central observers to brief party about U'khand situation New Delhi, May 23 .BJP Parliamentary Board, the apex decision making body, will consider the issue of change of leadership in Uttarakhand in the light of party's total rout in recently concluded Lok Sabha polls. The party had sent two central observers including BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and senior leader Thawar Chand Gehlot, to Uttarakhand to assess the political situation there. Both the leaders had visited Dehra Dun yesterday, and will apprise the party of their on-the-spot assessment. BJP's Parliamentary Board is meeting in the evening. The board comprises party national president Rajnath Singh, Leader of the Opposition L K Advani and Dr Murli Manohar Joshi. The meeting assumes significance in the wake of Chief Minister B C Khanduri offering to quit, owning moral responsibility of BLP's defeat in all the five Lok Sabha seats. The BJP had wrested power from the Congress in the last Assembly elections in 2007 unseating the Government-headed by Mr N D Tiwari.
