Patna. Bihar Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary has said that Judiciary has no right to intervene in the functioning of legislature. His statement came after the day long anarchy in the Assembly where opposition parties took on Nitish government over the multi-crore scam.
He also passed a regulation in connection with Public Account Committee (PAC) inquiry on CAG report in which he said no document would be allowed to be furnished anywhere else. “Not even in the High Court,” said Chaudhary. It may be recalled that a social activist Arvind Kumar has already filed a petition seeking inquiry into the scam.
Chaudhary also said that intervention of court would mean contempt of the Assembly.
