Patna. Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI), Patna, in collaboration with SEWA Bharat, is organising a workshop on Women in the Informal Economy : Report of the Special Task Force at ADRI premises on August 1, 2014. The inaugural session will start at 10.30 a.m. Nitish Kumar, Former Chief Minister of Bihar will be the chief guest on the occasion.
SEWA Bharat, in collaboration with Government of Bihar, had set up a Special Task Force on “Women in the Informal Economy “. The Task Force, set up in 2011, undertook a large, multidimensional study on the domestic and working lives of poor, working women. It has since completed its work and released the report entitled ‘Shram Jeevani”.
In this workshop the chair of the Task Force Renana Jhabvala will share the report with the participants for inviting their valuable comments. The four Technical Sessions will be presided over by the senior officials of the Government of Bihar.
